Synopsis
Responsible for performing and overseeing all County Clerk tasks as set forth in Wisconsin State Statutes 59.23.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Richland County is seeking applicants to fill the remainder of the current term for the Office of County Clerk. This position is responsible for performing the duties outlined in Wisconsin State Statute 59.23(2). The position is responsible for managing county elections, acting as the clerk to the county board, maintaining official records, and issuing licenses. The County Clerk is an elected position, and the current term expires on December 31, 2028. Residency within Richland County is required. The County Clerk reports directly to the Richland County Board of Supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Residency within Richland County is required.
- Meet the requirements of a Wisconsin County Elected official.
